Job Description:

Essential Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and design detailed test cases and test procedures based on requirement specifications
Test new applications and perform repeatable testing for existing products
Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
Participate in iterative development and release management within an Agile Scrum environment
Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure customer requirements are met
Attend design reviews and user meetings as required
Document test cases, test results, and defects clearly and accurately
Execute test plans and continually analyze test coverage for completeness
Perform system integration, functional, volume, user interface, and performance testing on enhancements and modifications prior to production releases
Perform both manual and automated testing
Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
Analyze automated test results, troubleshoot failures, and update scripts as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on web-based application testing
3+ years of experience with Windows operating systems and applications
5+ years of experience writing test cases and test plans
5+ years of experience using QA testing tools such as:
Azure DevOps / TFS
Selenium WebDriver with C#
Postman
SQL-related tools
3+ years of experience in UI and API functional testing using tools such as Selenium WebDriver with C#
Strong experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment
Proven ability to perform:
Functional testing
Regression testing
System-level integration testing
End-to-end testing
Acceptance testing
Solid understanding of SQL or PL/SQL and relational database concepts
In-depth knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and documentation standards
Experience with version control systems and defect tracking tools
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience gathering, analyzing, and presenting defect metrics to management through verbal and written reports
